JAMES19 PRESCOTT, of Standish Parish, Lancashire, and Driby, Lincolnshire, lord of the manor of Driby, 1579-1583, gent., eldest son of James and Alice (Standish) Prescott of Standish, Shevington and Coppull, born at Standish Parish, about 1530, died at Driby, Lincolnshire, 1 March 1583; married, first, Alice Molyneux, died at Driby, 11 May 1581, the daughter of Sir Richard Molyneux of Sefton, Knt., and his wife Eleanor Radcliffe, daughter of Alexander Radcliffe of Ordsall, Knight, and his wife Alice Booth, daughter of Sir John Booth of Barton; she was the mother of his children; he married, second, after 1581, Agnes Little, who died without
issue.
