VI [1435--36] Cologne, Germany. [167] heart returned to England and buried at Burford, Shropshire. [168]. Edmund had m. (1) by 1394, Alice Merbury, [169] daughter of Sir John, of Weobley, Herefordshire, but she (who was living in 1417) d. without issue. [170] through Elizabeth, her issue became coheirs of the Barre inheritance at the death of Isabel Bourghehier, Countes of Devon (on 1 March 1488-9). [171]
