HIGH POINT— Mary Christine Cotton, 95, formerly of Greensboro, died Sunday, April 24, 2005, at Presbyterian Home in High Point.
The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will take place at Guilford Memorial Park.
Ms. Christine was born Aug. 29, 1909, in Greenville, Ky., to the late Bernie F. Walker and Charles Cotton.
Christine was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro. She graduated from Western Kentucky and received additional studies at Duke University. Christine was a first grade teacher at Irving Park Elementary for 27 years. She was a loving sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her one sister, Helen Harting of Louisville, Ky.; two brothers, W.D. Cotton of Nashville, Tenn., and Edwin Cotton of Arlington, Ga.; and several nephews and nieces.
