PRESCOTT OF SHEVINGTON AND LANCASTER
254. ROGER19 PRESCOTT of Shevington, Standish Parish, Lancashire,
second son of James and Alice (Standish) Prescott, was born at Standish Parish, about 1532, and he died there and was buried 4 October 1594. He married, first, Elizabeth, who was buried in Standish Parish, 9 April 1567. He married, second, at Standish Parish, 23 August 1568, Helen Shaw, probably the daughter of Robert Shaw of Standish ( For reference to Robert Shaw, see Standish Deeds 313 and 315).
