V. John, b. 6th July, 1695; was taken captive by the Indians, 20th June, 1707, carried into Canada; m. there and left Indian descendants.

"The boys remained with their captors at Caughnawaga an Indian Village near Montreal and sub. married squaws and became chiefs of their tribes. The case was brought before Council and H of R 1739 in Boston by Gov. Belcher.
