Will of George Wimberley

Probated May Ct. 1790

Son Joseph Wimberley - plantation where he now lives, containing 324 acres, which I bought of James Robards. Son Joseph - land I leased to Josiah Murphee, being the plantation the said Murphee now lives on. Son Joseph - Negroes Sam, Dick and Rose. Son George Wimberley - part of the tract of land where I now live, containing 344 1/2 acres and adj. the Eiland Old Field and the river bank, also give him Negro Old Dick. Son Jonathan Wimberley - the remaining part of the land I have not given my son George, containing 344 1/2 acres and adj. the river bank, but this land shall be rented out until Jonathan is of age. If Jonathan should die underage this land will fall to my son George. Daughter Mourning Wimberley - land where my Negro man Toney now lives in Nash County on the north side of Pigg Basket Creek containing 80 acres. Toney shall have his freedom from servitude for his lifetime, and he shall have the labour of a Negro woman named Moll, whom he claims for his wife, and he may stay on the land for his lifetime.
