Some sources say that a grave at Holly Springs, MS is that of West Florida Cotton. The actual person buried in Holly Springs is that of Wayne F. Cotton who came from a county in the North of Texas (maybe Cass) and was younger than West Florida Cotton. Wayne F. Cotton's records tell of all of his deeds, including the wounding and death at Holly Springs.
