"Newbury meeting informed this meeting that Jesse Yarnal has accomplished his marriage by the assistance of a Priest or some such way with a woman not in membership with friends and he being gone out of the parts therefor this meeting appoints James Hightly and Harman Uptergraff [sic] to provide a Testimony against him and produce it to next meeting."

Jesse Yarnall indicated in HHY as having married, out of unity, Ann Tomlinson 8 July 1775. Index card from Lancaster County Historical Society (courtesy: Lin. of Yarnall/Yarnell e-groups) states that he married before this exact date and also notation "left these parts before 7/8/1775". It would appear that some adjustment is required in his marriage date.
