Additional Information

George PARTRIDGE:

Notes:

Partridge genealogy : Descendants of George Partridge of Duxbury, Massachusetts, George Henry Partridge, 1915, page 4
In the foregoing records the name is variously spelled Partridge, Partrich, Partick and Patrick. George Partridge married November 1638, Sarah, daughter of Stephen and Tnphosa Tracy, who were married in Leyden, Holland, January 2, 1621, and came in the "Ann" to Plymouth in 1623. Stephen Tracy went back to England to live in 1655, and his will mentions Great Yarmouth as his place of abode.

Sarah 'Tracie' TRACY:

Notes:

That James Allen's wife was the daughter of George Partridge and Sarah Tracy of Duxbury, Mass. is proved by the Duxbury, Mass. will of the widow Sarah (Tracy) Partridge, dated 1702 and probated in 1708:
• I bequeath to my eight daughters, Sarah Allien [Allen], Triphosa West, Elizabeth Allien [Allen], Ruth Thatcher [Thacher], Mary Scif [Skiff], Rebeckah Fisher, Lidia Bruister [Brewster], Mercy Coburn [q.v., Colburn],...
• Ye sheep at ye vineyard [Martha's Vineyard] are my son [in-law] James Allein's by bargain.
--
Part of Sarah's will: "My 8 daughters - that is to say, Sarah Allen, Triphosa West, Elizabeth Allen, Ruth Thatcher, Mary Skif [sic], Rebecca Fisher, Liddiah Brewster, Marcy Coburn- three of my daughters before named deceased my meaning is that their children should have their mother's part and that equally devided amongst them., son John, son James Partridge, my 10 children, son, James Allen, son Brewster-"
