Maud Fitz Geoffrey (de Mandeville). d. 27 Aug. 1236, and after Henry's death, Countess of Essex, dau. of Geoffrey Fitz Piers (see also 246B-27), d. 1213, 3rd Earl of Essex, by 1st wife Beatrice de Say, dau. of William de Say. She m. (2) Roger de Daunteseye, d. aft. 1238, div 1232 (CP IV:669 chart, v: 116-117, 135, 437, VI: 457-459).
