MAEL-COLUIM (MALCOLM II), King of Scots, 25 Mar. 1005-1034; fought a battle in 1009 at Carham with Uehtred (d. 1016). son of Waltheof, Earl of the Northumbrans, and overcame the Danes, 1017; published a code of laws; was murdered, 25 Nov. 1034. "1004. Malcolm the son of Kenneth, a most vitorious king, reigned 30 years. 1034, Malcolm king of Scits died. " (Ritson II: 104-109; Dunbar I: 280; ASC; at this point theNew Revised Complet Peerage (G.E.
