DEATH SUMMONS JAMES T. BOONE DINUBA PIONEER
James Thomas Boone, pioneer of the Traver and Dinuba district, passed away this morning in a Fresno hospital after suffering a paralytic stroke several days ago.
He was a native of Missouri having come to California in early pioneer days and to Dinuba about 1896. He was 73 years of age. His home had been made in Modesto since 1920. Surviving him is his wife, Mrs. Isabel M. Boone, a daughter, Mrs. Stella Morrell of Berkeley, and four sons, Claude T. of Dinuba, Roy B. of Delano, Guy H. of Orland, and Clarence Boone of Newcastle. Two brothers, W.P. Boone of Dinuba and Dr. N.I. Boone of Red Bluff also survive as do six grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at the Dopkins Chapel Thursday morning at 10 o'clock and interment will be made in the Smith Mountain Cemetery.
