At an Orphans Court held at York for the County of York the second day of September in the second Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c Anno Domini 1762. Before John Adlum Hance Hamilton John Pope, Abraham Noblet, Martin Eyckelberger and Archibald McGrew Esq Justices Assignd & Came into Court John Noblet a minor Orphan Son of John Noblet late of Newberry Township yeoman Deceased who died Intestate aged Eighteen years, and also Mary Noblet a minor Orphan Daughter of the said Deceased aged fifteen years and chose James Brown of Newberry Township Yeoman Guardian over their Persons and Estates during their Minority of whom this Court approves. Came into Court James Brown who intermarried with Ann late the Widow and Administratrix of all and Singular the Goods and Chatties Rights and Credits which were of John Noblet Deceased who died Intestate, and produced the Accompts of their Administration of the Estate of the said Deceased by which after having been Examined and Approved by the Court it appears that there is a Ballance in the Hand of the said James Brown the sum of Seventy four pounds and Twelve Shillings subject to Destribution of which sum the Court do decree that the said James Brown do retain in his Hands in Right of his said Wife Ann the sum of Twenty four Pounds Seventeen Shillings and four pence in full of her Thirds of the said estate, that he retain in his hands the sum of six pounds four shillings and four pence the share of William Noblet who at the Time of the intermarring of the said James with the said Ann was Aged Ten Years and no more, being in full for maintaining Clothing and Schooling the said William during his minority That the said James Brown do retain in his hand the farther sum of Six pounds four Shillings and four pence, the share of Francis Noblet, who at the Time of the intermarriage of the said James with the said Ann was aged seven years and no more, being in full for maintaining Clothing and schooling the said Francis during his minority, and that he pay to and among the other Children of the said Deceased the remainder to witt to Abraham Noblet the oldest Son and Heir at Law, the sum of Twelve pounds Eight Shillings and Eight pence and the sum of Six pounds four Shillings and four pence to each of the other Children, and thereupon the Court order him Quietus.
