Abel Winship (1756-1844) turned out at the Lexington Alarm and later served in Capt. Benjamin Walker's company, Col. Ebenezer Bridges' regiment, Massachusetts troops. His widow applied for a pension, 1819, from Groton, Mass. He was born in England; died in Chester County, N. H.
