HELD AND BEGUN IN THE TOWN OF BATON ROUGE,
ON THE 17TH JANUARY, 1853.
To authorise Benjamin G. Cotton and his wife Elizabeth Cloy, of the parish of Ra pides, to adopt Samuel Cloy, son of Margaret Cloy, and Vernon H. Bean, an orphan, as their own children. Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Louisiana, in General Assembly That Benjamin G. Cotton and Elizabeth Cloy, wife of said Cotton and Vernon H. are hereby authorised to adopt, as their own children, Samuel L. Cloy and Vernon H Bean 1853
