ARTHUR WHITEHEAD 2 was born about 1650 in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, and died there about 1710. He married MARY GODWIN 4, the daughter of WILLIAM GODWIN 3. (G. B. 2-52; W. & D. Bk. 2-528; C. -M-35)
In his will he made bequests to his son WILLIAM 3, and wife MARY 4, the latter being named executrix. Philip Rayford, Philip Pierce, and Thomas Boone are named as witnesses, and the will is dated 11 January 1710/11, but no date is given for its recording. (W. D. Bk. 2-528; C-1-72-73)"
