III. Elizabeth, m. Thomas Lear, only son of Col. John Lear, of Nansemond County, Va. Thomas Lear died before his father as he is mentioned as deceased in his father's will. (W. & M. 7, p. 309.) His children mentioned in the will of their grandfather, were: John, Thomas, EUzabeth and Martha Lear.
