There is some dispute as to whether Mordecai Morgan was married to Martha Preston or Martha Linn. He may have married both.

Some sources give that he was born 1753 in Frederick Co., VA and died 1813 in Henry Co., KY and buried Sulphur Fork Baptist Church and that other children of Mordecai are:
