14. JAMES LYLE, ex 10, m ab't 1700, MARGARET SNODDY, of Ballyrickard-beg, a dau' of William Snoddy who was first husband of Jane Adams, of Ballysnodd. Her second husband was Thomas Sloan. Sisters of Jane Adams were: Grace, m James Snoddy, and Sarah, m William Irvine. The Snoddy family came to Ireland from Scotland about 1652. A sister of Margaret Snoddy was Elizabeth, who married Hugh Manford, of Ballyclare, and died August 12, 1726. Has many descendants.
