Page 109, 8 Feb. 1784. HENRY BLAGRAVE of Cumberland Parish, Lunenburg Co., to AARON HUTCHINGS, b/sale Negroes Waga and wife Patt, men Seacer and Tom, boys Fanny, Tabitha, also 3 mares, 2 horses, stock of cattle and hoggs, all purchase money received above £700 for sale of his land on Meherren River and Juniper Creek; in consideration of 700 acres in Pittsylvania Co. near Bannester River on Bare Skin Creek in value of £1,150 and balance of cash and bonds said Hutchings has endorsed to said BLAGRAVE. Signed: HENRY BLAGRAVE. Witnesses: James Harriss and Wm. Moore. Recorded: 9 Sept. 1784.

--- Testament of Aaron Hutchings of the County of St. Charles and State of Missouri, I
___ considering for the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of sound mind and memory
--- for the same,, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner,
___ that is to say in the first place – It is my will that my beloved wife, Nancy Hutchings
---- of the farm on which I now live, during her natural life, and also for following
___ on the farm with her, or to be at her disposal to __ and with the advice
---- ---- named, to wit, Ive, Frank, Palsey, Emmz V her two children, Booker and
____ the whole or part of the Stock, Household & kitchen furniture and farming utensils
___ be at her disposal either to keep or to sell a part of the whole with the advice of the Executers
----- I will and bequeath unto my Grand Daughter Caroline C. Daughter of my Son Green Hutchings
____ thirteen Acres off of the North West Corner of the tract of land on wich I now live. And a negro
___girl named Vivian, __ 3rd I will and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Lewis the balance of my
__ on which I now live and a negro woman named Malissa, and any other children, that she may hereafter have the above named property, which I have left to my Daughter Sarah it is my will that it should be sold by my Executors whom I appoint Trustees entirely free from the use, control, or disposal of her husband Milton Lewis, and to be solely for her benefit during her natural life, and then to be equally divided between her children. Item 4th, I will and bequeath unto my son Christopher Hutchings, to be received after the death of my wife, the sum of fifteen hundred dollars the proceeds of which will arise from the Servants, For, Frank, Polly, Emma & her children Booker & Roset together with the Household & Kitchen furniture Stock and farming utensils, that my be on hand at the time of my wifes death, the above named Servants to be Sold publickly by the Executors in the same manner as they sell my perishable property. Item 5th After all expenses of selling my Estate shall be defrayed it is my will that the balance of the money arising from the sale of property after my wifes death be equally divided between the heirs of my two deceased daughters Elisabeth Speed and Lucinda Pitman, one the first wife of John Speed and the other the first wife Richard B. Pitman. Item 6 It is my wish & desire that my Son Christopher Hutchings & my friend Lewis Howell should act as my Executors, whom, I hereby appoint to see this my last will and Testament executed, revoking all former wills by me made, In testimony where of I here unto set my hand & seal this thirtieth day of May in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred Thirty Nine
