There seems to be some confusion between Francis Yarnall brother of Peter and Francis Yarnall son of Peter.

Francis Yarnall, the brother of Peter, was born in 1694 and married Mary Baker in 1717. His second marriage was to Mary Morris (nee Phillips). Page 157 of the HHY History incorrectly states her maiden name as Lincoln. Francis Yarnall lived in Chester Co. PA and was a trustee with the General Loan Office in PA

Francis Yarnall, the son of Peter, was born in Chester Co. PA in 1719. He moved with his parents to present day Berks Co. PA living close to the Exeter Meeting House of which he was a member. In 1742 he was disowned by the Exeter Monthly Meeting for marrying Mary Lincoln who was not a member, and for taking an oath before a magistrate. In 1770 he surveyed the Kings Highway through present day Schuylkill Co. PA In August 1770 he accompanied Ellis Hughes, Benjamin Lightfoot to Tunkhannock in search of timber to make masts for the ships for the English Navy. In 1769 Mary Lincoln Yarnall took out an application for 300 acres of land in present day Schuylkill co. This land was later patented by her son Jesse and sold to his brother Isaac upon Jesse's death. Some of this land is still owned by our Yarnall family.
