The year of birth of 1818 is documented on later census and on headstone. His parents marriage record gives a marriage year of 1819. There are no images of the marriage record available to varify that the year of 1819 is correct.. It seems more logical that his birth would be 18 Jan 1820 and would be approximately 9 months after the wedding. of his parents.
