At a Monthly Meeting the i of 3rd month 1766, John Nobht produced a certificate.

At a Monthly Meeting held the 12th of 2nd Mo. 1784. John Noblit produced an offering to this mtg. condeming his conduct. Which is received by this meeting as satisfaction for the same.

At a Monthly Meeting held the 4th of 3rd Mo. 1786, this Mtg. disowns John Noblit after the necessary labor being extended.

At a Mo. Mtg. held 6th of 11th Mo. 1784. This Mtg. agrees to receive Joseph Wm and Abraham Noblit sons of John Noblit.

Whereas Charles Stout son of Peter & Margaret of Orange county & province of North Carolina & Mary Noblit Daughter of John & Ann Noblit deceased of the province aforesaid having declared their intention of marriage with each other before several mo. mtgs. of the people called Quakers at Cane Creek in Orange county afore said according to the good order used among them & having consent of their parents said proposals was allowed of by the said Mtg.

The Twenty fourth day of ye 4th Mo In ye year of our Lord one thousand seven Hundred ninety One
John Noblet of North Carolina in Surry County yeoman being of perfect mind sd memory thanks be to God therefor Calling unto Mind & Mortality of my body & knowing that it is Appointed for all men once to dye do make & Ordain this my last will & testament & as touching such Worldly Estate as providence has blessed me with this life I give & Devise & Dispose of Same in ye following manner and form
First of All my Debts & funeral charges must be paid.
Item & first of all it is my will that my Well beloved Wife Rebecca Noblet shall live on this plantation I now live in her lifetime or Widowhood without any interruption & In case She shall marry She is to Go off & give it up to my sons.
2nd It is my will that my wife shall have her mare & saddle Bed & Bedding with her waring Clothes & a cow for her own property with a plow & other necessaries to attend ye plantation with to raise my Children.
3rdly It my will that my neat & personal Estate Shall be equally Devided Between all my children Both Sons & Daughters as Well as if named after my wife has Got her Above sd Legacy: Likewise I constitute Make & Ordain my trusty friends John Johnson & William Hough Sole Exrs of this my Last will & testament & I do hereby Utterly Dissolve Revoke & l all & Every other former testaments Will & legacies Bequeathed & Exe’d by me any __ & before this time Nominated Will & bequeath Ratifying & confirming this & no other to be my last will & testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal sd day & year above written: Signed Sealed published pronounced & Delivered by ye said John Noblet as his last will & testament In sd presence of us sd Subscribers 1791
