Some researches give 1802 as the birth year for this John Yarnall. This is in error as in the estate papers of his father John Yarnall, Sr. this John had a guardian so he was not of age at his father's death in 1831.

The death date listed here is for John Yarnall son of Joseph Yarnall and Susanna Wolf who resided in Cooper Co., MO.

In a Petition for Partition of Real Estate, in St. Charles Circuit Court, Missouri, October term 1854: Plaintiffs further state - that said John Yarnall, Defendant, is not a resident of the State of Missouri.

In 1860 he is found in Collin Co., TX, age 48, b. KY, living between his brother Sirus (Silas) Yurnell and sister Mary Rennison. He married Mrs Elizabeth Barns Bell, widow of Wm Bell before 1870. He and Elizabeth had a son Enos Yarnell b. 26 Jul 1870 in Collin Co., TX. John died 12 Oct 1900 in Collin Co., TX and is buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
