Kaufman Sun, Dec. 19, 1900: William P "Pink" Cotton of Gossett died Tuesday of yellow jaundice. He lived his entire life in this county, born to John and Martha Cotton June 16, 1885 and he expired in his home December 26, 1900, burial at Weaver Cemetery.
